Water color is rapidly
returning back to brown now as the fish stir up more of the mud in the
main lake. The boathouse bank seems the most active at present
along the deeper stretches mid way, also around the aerator on the right
bank and the shelf swim on the far bank has produced some nice
bags. In the top lake the fish are quite active with the mid to
deeper water areas producing nicely.
Heaviest fish for the
week was a 24lbs specimen common carp caught by Exeter angler Mr A.
Flaherty who also scooped himself a new personal best record with this
catch. Mr K. Hopkins of Gillingham also hooked himself a nice
catch when he landed his 22lbs 4oz common amid a 4 fish bag.
Dorset angler Paul Beames finished his holiday at Creedy with is best
bag of 12 fish whilst fishing on the far bank. Below is Paul
pictured with his 26lbs common caught last week and beneath was another
large specimen of 22lbs.

Staffordshire angler
James Wrigglesworth fished the far bank and landed two commons scaling
21lbs 3oz and 17lbs 9oz whilst Glenn Farrow also reported a 4 fish
bag with commons up to 21lbs 3oz. Sussex guest Lawrence Neale had
a productive week at Creedy reporting 6 commons up to 19lbs 2oz and his
best day Lawrence banked a total of 11 fish including a pair of green
tench, a 14lbs mirror carp and 8 commons up to 19lbs 4oz.
Heaviest mirror carp for the week of 17lbs 2oz was banked by Dean
Willoughby of North Devon amid an 8 fish bag. Dean also banked 6
double figure commons up to 19lbs 8oz, one single figure common and
heaviest green tench for the week scaling 5lbs 8oz. Crediton
angler Stuart Greenslade banked a total of 8 fish during one session
with 7 double figure commons up to 19lbs 14oz along with a 9lbs
mirror carp, on another session Stuart hooked just the one catch, a
19lbs 2oz common whilst fishing on the right hand bank.
