Creedy Lakes Water Rules

  • Covid 19 – Please bring & use own hand sanitizer & observe social distancing guidance. One guest per angler (partner or child only, small fee applies – £5/12hrs | £10/24hrs). Please comply and keep yourself and others safe. Booked anglers only
  • 12hr sessions available and multiples of (up to 168hrs i.e. 7 days) can be purchased for multiple anglers in one transaction
  • Entrance gates are locked during daytime for a period (phone for booked access or exit). Gates locked overnight. Emergency access only- phone bailiff )
  • The only 12hr session is a Day ticket: 08.00 – 20.00hrs and can only be purchased day before or on the day of angling. All other tickets are 24hrs minimum
  • All tickets are purchased in advance and paid in full online at creedylakes.com/ using the Catch platform only
  • On booking you are reserving a space, not specific swim. Fishing only allowed in a proper swim
  • Use large landing net (42”+), large padded unhooking mat or cradle. Klinik /or antiseptic any hook hole and /or sore. Do report any fish damage
  • BARBLESS hooks only, Minimum 10lb line plus. No retaining fish: sacks and keep nets are NOT permitted
  • No fixed leads, pole fishing, beach caster or fly fishing allowed. ONE angler per swim unless a double swim with same household
  • Max of 2 rods per angler, must have current EA rod licence(s)
  • Tickets not transferable. One ticket per angler. Full refunds will be issued if cancelled up to 10 days prior to booking (inclusive); 9 – 6 days (inclusive) 60% refund ; 5-3 days (inclusive) before there will be a 30% refund, If cancelled 0-2 (inclusive) days there will be no refund. If you do not arrive before 11am then your swim space can be re let (unless advised of late arrival). If the electric gates are shut, please phone for access 07967859343 on arrival.
  • No reserving of swims is allowed (except by bailiff for wheelchair priority swim first on right, in advance where a sign will show reservation)
  • Rods must NEVER be left unattended at any time. Max charge of 2 rods per angler on bank (no sharing rods)
  • Considerate use of bait boats and good angling practise please. Noise to a minimum
  • No nuts, rubber /artificial bait or a pure seed bed allowed. Hemp is permitted in a mixed bed
  • All fish to be returned to the lake by net or sling as soon as possible, never by hand
  • Removal of fish off site will result in prosecution. Also no introducing of any live fish, this will result in prosecution
  • Dogs are not permitted on site. Trimming of tree branches and open fires are not allowed
  • Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult at all times
  • Fish health is a priority for us. Anyone breaking the rules or anti-social behaviour will be asked to leave without a refund.
  • For your safety no wading, swimming. Drugs and /or heavy drinking is not tolerated. Max 5mph speed in car park
  • ALL LITTER & unwanted bait TO BE TAKEN HOME including disposable barbecues PLEASE. Thank you for keeping the site clean
  • Entry, parking and fishing is at your risk. For your safety log bailiff number 07967859343, read & observe all signs. Wear suitable footwear and clothing. Torch for dark hours. Note lifebuoys. Do a site safety risk assessment, report any danger. Fishing in high winds is dangerous; trees can shed limbs and fall.
  • Creedy Lakes will use your personal data for means of contacting you for any changes or relevant information, see privacy policy statement. We do not hold your card details on our website or the Catch platform, payment is taken through Stripe. Bookings will be confirmed when paid and you will receive a ticket electronically. Payment is acknowledgement of acceptance of all the water rules
